• Day 1 (Mon) Miami/Paramaribo, Suriname
Your presence at the airport is required at least 3 hours prior to departure of your flight Surinam Airways PY. Depart from Miami at 15.30 and arrive at Paramaribo International Airport at 23:59. Welcome to Suriname! After Immigration (American and Canadian citizens can buy your
$ 25 Tourist Card, this process takes around 30 minutes) and Customs please follow your Sunny Land Tours escort, to Airport Exit. A representative will be waiting for the group. Transfer to your hotel. Aproximately 1 hour drive from the airport will bring you to the Krasnapolsky Hotel.
• Day 2 (Tue) Paramaribo
Morning departure for a city tour of Paramaribo.
Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname, featuring numerous wooden buildings of unique architecture and a variety of hospitable ethnic groups, living together in harmony.
Our guide will take you on a bus ride along the most prominent historic locations in the city center and you will get acquainted with the rich history behind the wooden facades.
Some of the most important monumental buildings during this tour are: the Presidential Palace.
Afternoon return to hotel. Lunch on your own. Rest of the day off for optional tours.
14:00 Dolphin Spotting, Souvenirs shopping and Open Air Museum tour
(Optional tour $100.00 per person min. 2 pax)
Shopping tour, followed by Dolphin tour including visit to Fort Nieuw Amsterdam (open air Museum)
Overnight at Krasnapolsky Hotel at Paramaribo
• Day 3 (Wed) Paramaribo - Bergendal
Enjoy a typical breakfast. Optional morning tour to the Central Market tour (Optional @ $15, - per person) Aproximately 10:00AM depart to Bergendal, last plantation at the river side of the Suriname river. Check-in and familiarze with the resort.
Lunch will be served at in the Kiskadee restaurant
Afternoon river boat tour were we will pass the transmigration villages such as Klaaskreek and Nienuw Lombe. Dinner will be served overlooking the river and after diner, cocktails at the Piraña bar. Cocktails not included. Marvel at the sights, the silence and the serenity.

Overnight at Bergendal Hotel
• Day 4 (Thu) Bergendal -Optional Brownsweg
Breakfast will be served.
09:00AM We have an optional Brownsweg tour, mountain tour including fabulous views, flora and Fauna and waterfalls planned (this tour is optional @ $ 100 per person min. 2 pax).
Lunch is either served at the resort or on the optional Brownsweg tour.
Afternoon optiona sightseeing tour of surrounding villages and electric damn optional @ $ 60 per person. Evening Surinam river tour.

• Day 5 (Fri) Bergendal
Breakfast will be served.
08:15AM A boat will take you to visit to the Heritage Village, an old slave town at the side of the Suriname river. Arrive at Adventure Center.
Enjoy Optional Tours available at The Adventure Center
After lunch at the resort, optional tours you may wish to do:
Tarzan swing (Optional canopy tour $48)
(Optional river kayak tour $36). (Optional canopy tour $66)
Evening Farewell dinner will start with maroon cultural group at the Adventure Center´s beach. BBQ, snacks and tropical cocktails will be served well. Overnight at your hotel.
Overnight at Bergendal Hotel
• Day 6 (Sat) Bergendal / Paramaribo –
Breakfast will be served. After breakfast we will hike from the resort to the Adventure Center. At the Adventure Center you can do some optional activities for the remainder of your stay at Bergendal..
Noon check out from the hotel. Don't forget to take all your luggage.
Lunch at the resort.
After Lunch departure from Bergendal Resort to paramaribo Check-in at Hotel Krasnapolsky.
Rest of the afternoon off for optional night tours. Meals: B, L

• Day 7 (Sun) Paramaribo
Free day in Paramaribo at leisure.
Optional
Artisan & Butterfly Farm ( @ USD 90.00 per person). We leave Paramaribo by bus for a tour at the Neotropical Butterfly farm (one of the biggest butterfly and snake farms in the region). After this we drive to a nearby village to seen Maroon wood carvings. You see woodcarvers at work and you can buy finished woodcarvings. Next is a stop at the Amerindian potters. Here you get to admire genuine Surinamese pottery. Our last stop is at Cola Creek where you can relax and swim in a Creek with Black water. Meals: B
Overnight at Krasnapolsky Hotel at Paramaribo
• Day 08 (Mon) Paramaribo/Miami
04:00AM Breakfast box will be provided. Transfer to the airport for your flight PY463, scheduled to depart at 08:00AM. Meals: B
What to bring: Short pants, camera, binoculars, sunscreen, insect repellant, personal medication and personal items, flashlight, poncho, raingear, fast drying clothes, adventure sandals, tennis shoes, or light hiking boots, etc.
Tipping (cover charge): A mandatory $50.00 US charge will incur to your bill at the Bergendal Eco & Cultural River Resort with the G Manager. The $50.00 charge is assessed to cover tips and other cost for your entire stay at Bergendal, to drivers, guides and tour escorts. Additional tipping is at your discretion.
Visa: For US Citizens, Suriname Visa can be obtained for $25.00 at the airport.
