Agent FAM trip to Costa Rica.

Hi Maricruz, Costa Rica was beautiful.

Our guide Sergio had so much information and so much enthusiasm that it was mind blowing. The Chachagua Rainforest Hotel was a nice change from the typical resort environment. AC would have been nice but at the same time it gave the feel of actually being in nature.

The Arenal Volcano and Tabacon Hot Springs were great as well. I will never forget the rain forest hike we had when it started raining very hard. The RIU was exactly what I was expecting. Friendly staff, lots of drinks/food, beautiful scenery.

I took the “Buena Vista Adventure” side tour. Again, no complaints...Overall I thought the FAM had a good pace… It was not too busy of a schedule, the group kept things on time mostly. I hope to work with Sunny Land Tours in the near future.

The FAM trip was simply fantastic! I was so impressed with how well it was organized, as well as the professionalism & enthusiam of Mr Joe Nazi & Serjio with Jacanar!

I have very few, if any negative things to say about the trip, other than it was too short! I would add at least a day so we could see more in the Arenal area. Tabacon was out of the world! Loved the hikes, the stops along the way, and the Riu! I have a few suggestions for the Riu but other than that, I was more than pleased!

Hello Joe, Sorry for the delayed response...

It is rather difficult to say how could the FAM trip be improved! For the most part, it was a perfect FAM. Surprisingly, in retrospect it was a pleasurable time spent in the rain forest...a wonderful first time experience staying in a cabin directly in that environment. Despite the rain storm it was just wonderful!

The RIU was also great. Additionally, the same can be said regarding the "Hot Springs" facility. However, if any at all possible, one improvement that could be considered is the amount of time that was spent travelling. There might not be too many options, but it's something to consider.

Our FAM trip to Egypt was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. I am now an "expert" on Egypt which will help me sell the trip. The Sunnyland staff was reliable, professional, courteous, and always available to answer any questions.

Likewise,our tour guide Abdel, was by far the best we have had on any trip. He was most accommodating and knowledgeable and made our touring and trip so memorable! We learned so much and were awestruck seeing so many antiquities that we had only read about in books.

Each day was planned with care and precision and it would be difficult to say which were our favorite tours, as we loved seeing them all, from the pyramids, the museum, the tombs, temples, city tours etc. Likewise, our cruise down the Nile was wonderful as well. We loved the little extras that Sunnyland provided-the felucca and carriage ride were an added plus that enhanced our trip. It would be remiss not to mention the beautiful hotels we stayed in. I already have 5 couples ready to book the tour and will be presenting my slide show at many organizations and groups over the next few months.

I expect to get many of my groups to visit Egypt.

I attended the Sunnyland Travel Agent FAM trip Oct. 28 - Nov. 2. I wanted to write to let you know how much I enjoyed my visit to El Salvador.

It was so beautiful and the people were so warm and welcoming. I loved the Hotel Santa Leticia; it was very rustic and perfectly matched to it's lush surroundings. I also enjoyed the Royal Decameron

It was such a treat to have lunch at the coffee plantation after getting to experience the process the beans go through. The coffee tasting was very interesting and added a new appreciation for me.

I really enjoyed the visit. Cerro Verde was incredible. I loved seeing the volcanoes and hiking through the forest. Our visit to Coatepeque was wonderful. It was so lovely to sit and dine looking out over the beautiful lake while the band played for our group. As if that wasn't nice enough, we then got to take a boat ride which was a perfect ending to our time there. Of all the sights we got to see and things we got to experience; I was most impressed with our guide "Mac". He was always willing to try and accommodate our difficult group and he seemed to know everything about the country. It was also nice of him to let us ask candid questions about the people and history of El Salvador. He was really the best guide I have ever had of any group tours I have been on. I hope you recognize him as the valuable asset to your company that he is.

We loved Chachagua and saw many creatures and did many things in the area. Actually, we saw all the animals we came to see except the monkeys. Did hear them while on the hanging bridges though!!!! The volcano was spectacular too!!!

Our guide Christian took us to a local hot springs, we even had dinner at his parents house in the evening. His mom taught us how to make tortillas. What a great experience for us all!!!

We had a great trip! The country has combined incredible natural diversity, and immaculate/eco-awareness like no developing country I have ever seen, but the people we what made the trip so memorable!

What can I say....everything was just perfect...and you know we do not get to hear that very often. They loved the Tabacon....the tours & transfers were all great. We had an amazing time in Arenal and Quepos. While in Arenal, the Tabacon Resort was absolutely beautiful and relaxing, exactly what we needed after a busy week and wedding weekend. The hot springs and spa, resort, and staff were truly 5 star.

We were able to book our own adventures while in La Fortuna and loved ziplining and horseback riding. Iguana Tours taxi folks were very friendly and hospitable to transport us from big cities/airports to other cities. We also enjoyed the peacefulness and Mariposa Hotel at the top of the hill to overlook the amazing ocean. We also enjoyed Quepos, learning to surf and checking out the animals in Manuel Antonio Park.

The local restaurants and people were very friendly.

Invited to join my parents shortly before the scheduled departure date, my knowledge was minimal regarding the ancient history of these incredible people . Though in a new and strange land, we were made comfortable throughout every excursion. Contributing to this joyful expedition, the flights, hotel, seaside resort, carriage ride, boating excursions, temple tours, pyramid visits, delicious meals, and MS Crocodile were nothing short of wonderful. It seems that not one single consideration was neglected. Each and every host was friendly and engaging from the start. ... Anxious from all of the excitement of traveling, my parents and I felt a little worn out. Upon first encounter, "Peter's" genuine concern for our well-being was immediately demonstrated. The ways in which he is able to predict and expedite requests is truly amazing. From finding a pharmacy, to chocolate and Pepsi Light, he is by far a man that can be counted on. Near the end of our visit, my mom needed to pick up a few mementos, but felt too tired to barter for a good deal. By the way, learning the real value of items sold in Egypt was something Peter helped us to understand better. Assisting our tired desires, Peter suggested a very nice shop with low (set) prices. Let me tell you, in Aswan, this type of thing is no small accomplishment. For these reasons, among others, I fervently recommend the excellent services of Peter Ayad S.

Egypt and Jordan

My wife and I would like to award Sunny Land Tours five gold stars for the excellent service provided to us, on-a·-17-day-trip with-Sunny Land Tours to Egypt and Jordan. We booked the 8 day Grand Circle Tour of Jordan and the Platinum Tour of Egypt from October 17 to November 2. Having never before booked with Sunny Land left us somewhat nervous at the onset, but as soon as we arrived in Amman all doubts disappeared. We were greeted by friendly and courteous agents on all phases of the journey. They took care of all our needs, reconfirmed all flights and even lined up at the check in counters at the hotels and stood in line at the airline counters to get our boarding passes, In Jordan we were part of a small group of 12 people. In Egypt it was just the two of us and we had our own very personal tour guides on all sections of the trip. While enjoying the benefits of a small party we watched numerous operators in busloads of tourists crowding the many attractions. In short, we had a wonderful time. Yelena, Thought we would let you know about our 40th Anniversary trip to Egypt thanks to SunnyLand. We had a wonderful time. Because we were not part of a large tour group our guides, Esslam, Nadia in Upper Egypt and Bishoy in Lower Egypt, took an extraordinary amount of time to ensure we understood the History and events that led up to each Dynasty. They became our friends in the limited amount of time together. The Pyramid Hotel in Cairo was very comfortable and the restaurants supplied a nice dining selection. We would, however, tell future guests to obtain Egyptian currency before coming to the Hotel. The bank that is within has little to offer in the way of small bills for tipping and purchasing gifts. They also can't break down large USA monies into smaller bills. Our Cruise up the Nile was full of eventful trips. We purchased the Excursion Package that contained 5 tours and at our age it was a little difficult to keep up and comprehend all that was presented to us. The dining was almost exotic in the selection that they presented to us daily. But, everything was amazing. All of the travel in your Platinum Package 10 Day Tour was very nicely taken care of by the guides, air travel, ground transportation and being punctual so we didn't miss anything. Donn & Joy

Ann S. Unionville, NY: You made the dream of a "trip of a lifetime" into the reality of " the trip of a lifetime."  After the world altering events of September 11, my husband and I were not sure whether or not we should continue with our plans to visit Egypt, from November 22 through December 2. 

We were nervous about taking our daughters, 12 and 19 years old, out of the country while things were so unsettled (right after September 11).   Our interactions with Sunny Land Tours, and reading the statements from other people who used the company's service and planned trips since 9/11, helped us decide to stick with our plans and go.  

It was not a mistake!  We had the most wonderful trip to Egypt.  It was above and beyond anything we had ever imagined.  The service throughout the entire trip was wonderful, the hotels some of the best we?ve stayed at, the accommodations great, and the food was delicious.  The entire trip went so smoothly and without a problem due to all the seamless transfers, ground transportation, and the planning Sunny Land made.  

I want you to know that at no time during the trip were we ever uncomfortable either physically or emotionally.  Between our wonderful guide, your company's arrangements, and the Egyptian people themselves, we felt completely comfortable and safe at all times.

Our guides (Essam, Elia) were great, the accomodations were great, the sights were beyond words. We found Egypt to be very safe, the people very friendly (even the vendors were nice in their special way), and the tour was most enjoyable. I wish I could tell everyone how now is the time to go. With so few people travelling the sights are not filled to the gills with other tourists. Thanks again for having such a great package at such a great price.

The transfer services performed by the tour people were very good. All drivers were very good throughout the tour... The hotel and cruise accommodations were very good and better than anticipated. Our cabin on the boat was quite roomy, and the food and service were very good indeed... Our guide Essam was outstanding. We were very pleased with Sunny Land and our contact there, Sandra Ramos, who was responsive to our questions and concerns and returned our phone calls immediately. We went September 20 to September 30. Our extremely knowledgeable guide Essam, with a degree in Egyptology, did everything for us, far above and beyond what was expected, to make our trip most memorable. The hotel suites, Nile cruise, outstanding food and friendly people all made us welcome and comfortable. I would highly recommend a trip to Egypt for everyone.

Given the logistical planning that goes into putting together the transportation and various admissions to Egypt's ancient sites, I don't know how one could plan such a trip on one's own.
